Jalal Dean Shaiq

FRIENDSWOOD - Jalal Dean Shaiq, 24, of Houston was arrested Friday on two outstanding Harris County felony drug warrants. Police stopped Shaiq when he was seen riding in a vehicle at the intersection of FM 528 and W. Nasa Rd 1.

Shaiq is being held on charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (LSD). The warrants were the result of ongoing narcotics investigations in and around the Friendswood - Clear Lake area.

Shaiq has a history of narcotics arrests and is currently on probation for a Possession of a Controlled Substance conviction that originated in LaMarque.

Shaiq was transferred to the Harris County Jail and denied bond.
