GALVESTON - A 52 year old La Marque riding a 1958 Honda Goldwing, failed to negotiate a severe curve on Stewart Road at 7 miles Road this afternoon, laid the bike down on it's side and slid for about 100 feet.

Timothy Stephen Fox of La Marque was driving east on Stewart Road and apparently lost control coming out of the curve and crashed.

Fox was taken by ambulance to John Sealy Hospital with lacerations and abrasions. His injuries were not believed to life threatening.

Boy I would like to get a closer look at that 1958 Honda Goldwing. Bet there aren't many of them around

Just a slight correction, but Honda didn't start making Goldwings until 1978. The one in the picture looks to be a 1500 series and may be a 1998 year model. Thank goodness he was seriously injured.
